Smoking ban

So MPs have voted for a blanket ban on smoking in public places. I hope it goes through, other people shouldn't be allowed to pollute little children's lungs by smoking near them, what do you think?

Anyway...the smoking ban was amazing when it came in. I'd say 40% of my peers (plus me) gave up smoking after last year's ban, so the additional amendments can only be good for everyone's health.

While there's been a really good outcome (in general) in the UK, elsewhere there've definitely been issues - particularly in Germany where they go border-hopping to smoke in Polish bars and pubs.

There's a little article here on a new initiative in Scotland and court cases in Germany - appears we're not all so easily
persuaded to give up!

New electric cigarette

I've been using the new electric cigarette which is completely healthy and doesn't contain any cancer cuasing chemicals. It is safe for everyone around you as no second hand smoke.

Fun gum

Nicotine gum is delicious. Better off not using nicotine at all, but if you must, then the gum is inoffensive, and a nice buzz with less of the health risk.

I can't wait til the smoking ban comes into force! It really is about time, what an infringement on our human rights having to breathe in other people's smoke all the time.

i think its ok cuz i started smoking when i was 13 which was weed and i am 14 now so it's kool wit me and no the shund't band weed smoking cuz sum pep's got glicoma and what wud they do without it????????????? so they shud 4get about banding that homie cuz ima get it any wayz ha ha ha ha ha.
