As yet, There has been no definite proof of this. Even if he is dead, there are more likely others who will continue the fight unfortunately. What a pity that there has to be extremists like that around, making life so hard for everyone else.

What I mean is : he is just the guy who carries the banner, if he's dead, someone else will appear.
Incidentally : what happened to Mollah Omar ? Was he somehow wiped off ?
