You are right, we are supposed to speak english if we want to invade your discussion board otherwise it looks like we deserve our reputation of arrogance.

I am posting from Canada, where it is so cold (minus 20), at least near Montreal.

Thank you for your hospitality I guess I need to practice and improve my english.

Talk to you soon

"Lol.."
Posted by trifle55 29 January  at  16:57

have you got running tap water out there ? I bet it's already frozen up under such low temperature .Mother nature has obviously gone berserk
"Yessss "
Posted by j3v4b6 29 January  at  17:18

we have running tap water. Canadians are quite well organized

And it's time for skating and skiing before summertime comes back with its very high temperature (hmm, sometimes)

"Challenging mother nature?! "
Posted by trifle55 29 January  at  18:03

How is that? I mean temperatures all that low and tap water still running out ? What has organization got to do with it? I'd be most interested to know please What are the summer temp records out there ?
Ouch!I've already got a snowball coming out my way...I'd better sign off lol
"Bonjour"

I'm Gaëlle, 34 years old !
I live near Paris (in the south east)

we didn't have that much snow yesterday...and the weather today is rainy, grey and a bit sad...that reminds me of the year i've spent in London for studies, 15 years ago !!(it's a joke....

be sure of one little thing > we'll try as much as possible to translate our messages!

one more thing> i m pleased to get this opportunity to write in english myself, and i guess we're gonna learn a lot from you and all the english people over here !
"Hi!"
Posted by mel1132 28 January  at  12:07

It's just dreary here... I iike Paris becasue whenever I've been, it's at least been dry, even if it's cold. In london it's just grey and rainy all year round and we have a sort of horrid mono-season...I do love it though, if not the weather!
"Hi katy"
Posted by athenia5 28 January  at  11:26

Sorry about the intrusion.

We are all members of the French forum equivalent to this one but this forum has been closed yesterday for some reasons which might be too complicated to explain here.

Therefore, we have decided to come here to continue our discussions.

I leave in the Alpes and I can tell you that we are now fed up with snow. Driving has been very hazardous these last days, it was a bit better yesterday but again, today, we have snow, blizzard and very low temperature.... planning of moving to the Cayman Islands

Thanks for welcoming us.
"Hi!"
Posted by daisy260 28 January  at  11:42

I'm in Scotland and my earrings had frozen in my ears (don't you hate that?!) five mins after i left the house this morning!
Don't really mind the cold weather, am used to it now, but think I'd rather be in the Cayman Islands too!
"Hello daisy"
Posted by athenia5 28 January  at  11:48

I was in Edimburg 2 years ago for a wedding. Such a beautiful place!!! And it was so hot there at that time. I had some troubles understanding the Scottish accent but of course, I am French.

Well, if I decide to move to the Caymans, I will let you know
"Hello"
Posted by virginiasiback 28 January  at  11:28

if you have planning of moving to the Cayman Islands, tell me when, i will come with you, here in strasbourg (juste near germany) the temparature is too low, and my nose is frozen !!!
"Hello katy"

"Well, it's snowing here..."
Posted by Ardbegforever 28 January  at  11:09

I'm near the Swiss border, and since I can't drive on the snow, you can imagine how happy I am!
sorry about all the posts in French, but I suppose some of us dont' speak English, so it's going to be hard for them!
We're just trying to get things right on our usual part of the site, hoping that the posts will not be deleted!
Which part of England are you from?
Good day to you too...
