Isn ... amazing that the NHS carries out such horrific procedures yet leaves cancer patients months without treatment... You`d think they were more interested in assisting with death than life...

Partial-birth abortions are performed by the NHS. The NHS Medical terms for partial-birth abortion are "dilation and evacuation" and "D&E".

"Tony blair supports partial-birth abortion."

Tony Blair supports abortion up to birth and on demand for any reason. Tony Blair supports partial-birth abortion.

Partial-birth abortion is a horrifying procedure wherein an abortionist incompletely delivers a baby, leaving its head within the mother. He then penetrates the base of a late-term baby's skull so that he can suction out its brain (thereby collapsing its little head) prior to full delivery. Evidence confirms that these unborn children experience profound pain during these procedures.

a surgical nurse who observed first-hand this gruesome procedure at abortion clinic, recounted the immense revulsion she experienced while participating in a partial-birth abortion:
"The baby's little fingers were clasping and unclasping and his feet were kicking. Then, the doctor stuck the scissors through the back of his head and the baby's arms jerked out in a flinch, in a startled reaction -- like a baby does when he thinks that he might fall."

Partial-birth abortions are performed by the NHS.

"Partial birth abortion"

Are you stupid??
This DOES happen
1) why would the US make it legal (30 years ago) and now make it illegal if it did not happen.
why would people lie about seeing a baby aborted this way??
why would they have legal cases on Partial Birth Abortion if it was not real....Are you stupid, are you THAT naive????

2) of course a baby is born head first

but they change into this position when they are fully grown (at about 39-40 weeks)

and if they are not in this position, the doctor will make them in this position

THIS IS SICK, IT DOES HAPPEN, HOW CAN YOUR ONLY NAIVE ANSWER BE, "IT DOES NOT HAPPEN"....some poeple are so bloody stupid.

"Nonsense"
Posted by moosepup79 31 December  at  22:36

This is quite blatantly hysterical anti-abortion nonsense.
As somebody else has pointed out, this spurious method of abortion would rely entirely on every birth occuring in the breech position, which would make it highly unreliable as (and you might want to verify this using the Penguin Book Of Explaining Labour To Imbeciles) babies are generally born head-first.
Apart from anything else, can you genuinely imagine any human doctor or nurse carrying out this horror-movie procedure?
For goodness sake, I find it difficult to believe that there are still people in the world who are willing to believe this absurd propaganda.
"Check the facts"

I only just found out about this horrific procedure myself from a friend in America where until just this month it was routinely carried out and as to how the child comes out feet first they turn it around using forceps
And partially quoting you i find it difficult to believe that there are still people in the world who are willing to ......and that is were we both disagree I find it difficult to believe that there are people in the world who dont open up their eyes to the amount of pain we as a so called civilised country are still inflicting on innocent lives babies dont have a voice until they are born it is up to the so called civilised world to be their voices

"Where did you get that story from?"
Posted by glaswegian 4 May  at  13:52

Must be from some christian site or anti-abortion-website - they tell lots of rubbish.

1. When a baby is born or "delivered", the head comes first.
Since you wrote that the body comes out except from the head which stays inside the mother's body, this can't be right.

2. Late abortions are very common already, especially when a fetus shows serious damages.

3. Late abortions are never done the way you describe them. Someone just wants to make a hype.
When a late abortion takes place, the woman needs to go into labor. The fetus gets killed in her body first by putting a poisonous injection straight into its heart. It is already dead inside the womb. When the fetus is born, it is dead.

So no out-sucking of brains whatsoever. What purpose would that have?
You should get yourself some proper information on biology, medicine and gynecology in particular. Visit some medical websites and not these anti-abortion-websites. They lie and love to shock people by showing fake ultrasound pictures.

Forget this crap.

"It is quite real"
Posted by youarewrong 14 January  at  23:57

This is a real procedure, used on real babies.

"1. When a baby is born or "delivered", the head comes first."

What people making this point fail to realize is that when the baby is not already in a breech position, he or she will be forcefully manipulated into one. The abortionist, using forceps, seizes a leg and pulls it through the cervix.

"2. Late abortions are very common already"

Yes, far too common.

"3. Late abortions are never done the way you describe them."

On the contrary, it is a recognized procedure, known as "intrauterine cranial decompression" or "dilation and extraction" (D&E).

"So no out-sucking of brains whatsoever. What purpose would that have?"

The purpose is to kill the child and also collapse the skull so that it will pass through the cervix (there is usually not enough dilation to remove the child with an intact skull).

How dare you tell the poster to "Forget this crap" and suggest visiting medical sites, when you obviously have no clue about the matter and have not done even the most cursory research yourself.

The facts are easy to find. Simply open Google and do some searches for "dilation and extraction" or "intrauterine cranial decompression", plenty of reputable government, medical and educational sites hold information about the procedure.

Here is but one example, from a court case in the USA. Cited are descriptions of the procedure, as stated by its creator and also witness testimony, provided by a nurse, of what a child goes through when he is murdered in this fashion.

" The baby's little fingers were clasping and unclasping, and his little feet were kicking. Then the doctor stuck the scissors in the back of his head, and the baby's arms jerked out, like a startle reaction, like a flinch, like a baby does when he thinks he is going to fall. "

" The doctor opened up the scissors, stuck a high-powered suction tube into the opening, and sucked the babys brains out. Now the baby went completely limp. H. R. 1833 Hearing 18 (statement of Brenda Pratt Shafer)."

This happens, this is true and I can't believe that people do this sort of thing.

What are you thoughts on this now that it is proven to be true?

i fell pregnant with my third child and my partner wanted me to terminate my pregnancy ,it broke my heart that he wanted me to take a little life growing inside me,i done nothing else but think about what i was going to do,i wanted to stay with him so said i would do it,i had my medical done and eventually got my date which was a week from me being 16 weeks andthe day before i broke down and told him i couldnt do it,i wanted to change his mind and looked it up on the net, and while i did that i managed to find pictures and even a clip of the abortion method that has been decribed and i told my self this cant be real,if it wasnt real then the special affects are realistic, it was the most awful thing i have ever seen and i burst out crying and couldnt speak so i handed my laptop to him and he watched it and held me and said he would never have suggested it if he had known this happens,im proud to say i didnt end a life and have a lovely little boy and also have got myself sorted with contraception i can be realible with,
