Hi,

You definitely need a qualification to teach in the UK, this site might help: www.tda.gov.uk

The section entitled "The training process" talks about the different qualifications you can get: http://www.tda.gov.uk/Recruit/thetrainingprocess/t-ypesofcourse.aspx

I'm not sure about working in a nursery, sorry.
