I living in London sicne 1 year now, and i work as a cahsier in the restaurant of a big hotel, because of my english i didn't have the choice, but basically, i have accountant degrees in FRANCE, and i also worked many years in accountant department.
Anyway, i'm fed up to work in a hotel, and i want to work in a office, so i send my cv everywhere, and now i have an interview on friday, to be assistant in an export company, and the profil is to be FLUENT ENGLISH - EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS... i really don't know if i'll be able to do it.
I'm not fluent in english, and i'm just scared. In same time i really want to improve myself and try to do my best to get it, i'm confused...

I didn't go, because i didn't feel it at all.
So a friend of mine just call them to telle them, that i had an inconvenient, and monday i will see.
If i feel it better i will ask them to give me an other chance.
If not, i will apologise and that it
"Stop it"

first of all, stop beeing scard, i am a french citizen from france, so, dear friend, i have only one advise for you, stop being scard,if you don't do something to emprouve your english, your communication and humain skils you will never make it.

let tel you a story, i just got a position as a young engineer at Nestlé Compagny, to get that job i had to succeed in 9 interviews my friend not ONE, before starting, i was wondering if i was able to make it at the end, and what i was telling to my self is, i have nothing to lose everything to gain, if you know i mean, at least give a try and you never know hwo it is going to end.
take care

You right,

thank you
"Persevere!"
Posted by xxxcarriexxx 8 October  at  10:42

Lyloo is right: don't be disheartened if you don't get the first job that you go for. There will be many disappointments along the way but if you persevere, you will one day get the job you want. Go along to EVERY interview that you're invited to, even if you're not 100% sure about the job: every interview is good practice!

On Monday, they told me that my enlish was not really good to do this job,so they decide to stop it.
So i went back to my 1st job as waitress, i was little bit upset about me, but i decided to enroll me to take english lesson, so i enrole me at CALLAM my test will be today, so i will see.

"Sorry to hear that"

Hi again, sorry to hear that you didn't get the other job but at least you have found a job as a waitress. It's maybe not what you want to do but it's a start, and you'll get plenty of opportunities to speak English. That's great news that you're going to take lessons, it will not only improve your English but it will improve your confidence as well. Let us know how it goes!

I stop my school today, i thing the method was not good for me, people just repeat all the times the same things, and it's boring, you can't express yourself, i really don't konw what to do, everythings goes in the negatives way. FED UP MAN

I went to the interview on monday, so i get the job, but i didn't sign any contrat, because they want to see how i work.
I really want to work there, but i think that i have to go to school to take more english lesson, becsue i'm still make some mistake in grammar, and i don't know if they will keep me, ith this level.
Anyway, i'm happy to have tryed, and i'll see....
