You can't take money with you when you die so it's all worth nothing in the end... go for what makes you feel happy!

"Wealth v happiness?"

i would like some advice please.

I'm currently working full time in a flower shop, very long days, no lunch breaks, no bank holiday and no overtime rates.
I'm not enjoying working in this shop and am spending most my free time dreading the next day.
iv recently been offered a new job, the hourly rate is better than I'm on, still in a flower shop. its a lovely shop and the lady that runs it is really nice. the catch is that is only 3 maybe 3half days a week.
if i took it i could possibly find other work for my free days, but no guarantees i would find something.
so should i stay were i am for the money, or should i take the new job and hopefully be happier all be it probably skint?

thanks, liss x

Hi Liss!
I'm brand-spanking new here and was checking the forum and your "Wealth v Happiness" title caught my attention. It's been a while since you posted it...what did you end up deciding?

And speaking of brand-new...there's a new women's empowerment community that you might be interested in checking out: www.shemagnificence.com. It's free to subscribe.

As my business, I am in the personal development/growth industry, and shemagnificence is something additional, more of a passion, and it's just now in the making- it's just for women, to assist them on their paths of realizing their potential and life-fulfillment (wouldn't wealth AND happiness be ideal?!). Anyway, it's just launching this week and we'd love to have you aboard in any capacity.

Hope this note finds you moving swiftly in the direction of your dreams.

See you around,
Samantha

I think that yu should definately get out of the shop that you are presently in! Talk about take advantage of you!
The only thing is that the better offer is part time, so before you commit yourself have a look for another part time position that you could also have, combining the two.
Best wishes to you.
