I've just had to hand my notice in because we are moving. My husband found himself another job about 800km from where we actually live. I love my job and all the people I work with. It's very sad. Has anyone been in this situation? Problem is starting all over again and trying to find another job.

Intersting what you say about working from home, it's most people's ideal on a Monday morning, but I suppose the reality can get quite lonely. Communication and human contact does you the world of good.

It's so hard to leave a job that you love. I just moved 2,000 miles away from my job, and luckily was able to keep my job, I am telecommuting, working with them by phone and email. However, I am totally bored working from home. I am a people person and need some human contact! I have already paid for airplane tickets for a vacation in August, so don't want to change jobs right now. I think that after that I will be on the hunt for a local job, so I can totally understand how you feel, especially since you will be in a place that you aren't as familiar with. I wish you the best of luck, and I know it will all work out, it's just kind of scary.

That must be hard, having to leave a job you really enjoy. I've done it once, but only to move onto something better. Think of the future, you might find something really intersting that you prefer! It's an adventure, good luck!
