Any legal secretaries in this forum ?

I would like to talk with legal secretaries. Do you like your job, what do you do exactly ?

I absolutely hate my job Barbara - I work for a bunch of complete a**holes who think that I don't know the difference between "two" and "too". However, I'm paid nearly £40k a year for sitting on my bum, drinking coffee and wiping lawyers' behinds so who am I to complain??

If you are thinking of this as a career then I can only advise - DO IT!!!! Money for nothing - just make sure you choose a City law firm. Hugz xxx

A little late replying but have only just seen your email.

Its well paid and we do have a few days now again when we are busy but mainly mediocre stuff.

don't have time to answer your post. I have a 6 years experience in that field. It can be very busy, tough but well paid, always interesting, very diversified in terms of duties. You may like it or not, it depends a great deal on the firm and lawyers you work with and how motivated you are... as for any other job I guess!
