Evening work from home

Can anyone give me any advice on finding work that i can do in the evenings from home, just to earn a little bit of extra money. I have two young children that I look after during the day.
Has anyone tried data entry and earnt money? I am a bit sceptical especially when you have to give them money to start. A friend of mine does folder filling which would be perfect but i don't know how to find something like that, i have looked in local papers and on the internet.

i to have been looking and wanting to do work from home, i also sent of for some folding work and i sent one company 15 and never heard back and another 30pound and got a letter back saying unfortunatly there was nothing in my area at the moment but soon as there is i would be notified that was last year and ive not heard anything since ,,,

so i to would be interested if anyone could help with proper companys that arnt there to rip us off.

i have 3 young children to look after in the day and dont want to go work and have them looked after by someone else..

I've been working from home for a company for the past 3 months. I'm not sure how much info I'm allowed to give out on here, but it's basically working for a well-known company, taking calls from customers who are calling to place orders and make payments.

I'm doing it to fund cosmetic surgery, and it fits in perfectly around my full-time office job.
