Four men squirted him in the face with pretend microphones on the red carpet for the War of the Worlds premier with his new fiancée - they were later arrested which I think was a bit harsh! he does deserve taking down a peg or two though...

I can see how it wasn't good because it could've been something other than water, but I think he needs to lighten up. I can't believe he is actually taking action against them, where is his sense of humor? He does need to be taken down a peg or two.

I don't know whether he overreacted or not, on the one hadn it was a joke and he seems really uptight about everything, but on the other, it could have been anything, he didn't know it was just water...

I think Cruise had every right to hold up the idiots who did this...it was humiliating and as people have said the liquid could even have been acid. He was kind enough to take time out to answer their questions seriously and they respond with an immature gag that wasn't funny or well received. They're "Jerks"!
