Not feeling too good but she wants to do karaoke

She's invited me to do a karaoke with her and her family however i HATE karaoke , yet i promised i'd be there and sing with her... For about week she's been ill and i haven't felt too good while she was off sick , now im feeling sick and very tired.

Do i do the karaoke and if i don't will it ruin the relationship?

Well i've been sick twice now , finding it hard to get about.. So i'll have to pull out

i hate karaoke too-some people can sing-lucky things!! i cant!! so im with you all way...having said that.... in the right crowd -with people who know i cant sing a note.. i still have fun singing along with the band while im dancing-but they are loud enough to drown me out!! if you really really dont want to do it next time but you want to be there for her just tell her you are not going to sing but you will be up there with her and maybe pick a song where there is a few words here and there that are just spoken that you are ok with doing-cant think of one just now but there are lots-they are the saving grace of us non-singers!! and hey if you dont even want to do that -its your choice!! she should understand and respect that-so dont feel pressured just make a choice when it happens and dont stress about it!!hope youre feeling better cya
