Flirting at work!!! help!!!

Well, I have a little problem. I am in a 5 year relationship with my boyfriend. It's been kind of rocky for the past 3 years. It came to the point where I can't get intimate with him. My boyfriend is a game freak... he is addicted to games. He focuses more on games and his friends than me. I had just started this job about a month and a half ago. I have this coworker that treats me so good. He treated me so much better than my boyfriend did. He flirts with me constantly. Now that my boyfriend sees I am getting attention from somewhere else he's been spending more time with me. I already connected so much with my coworker. So what can I do in this situation.

Addicted?

If you mean this literally, that your boyfriend is addicted to games (like a professional gambler), and it sounds like he is (from your description), I doubt whether a relationship is possible with your b/f, because for an addict the adictive substance always comes first.

I used to have a relatinship with an alcoholic for years until I realized that someone who is addicted is never available for me.

Don't fool yourself. This little wake-up that your b/f is showing now is only temporary. Games will be more important soon.

Regarding that colleague: you may have more luck with him than with your b/f, but it is always risky to start a relationship at work. What if it does not work out?
Is it a small company? Do you work together closely?

Perseverence will out

maybe your relationship needed a bit of a scare to get back on track - it was probably this jealousy that has slapped him across the face and he see's what he might miss out on. in my eyes a relationship is worth saving your co-worker is that, just a co-worker. You dont need to listen to my advice but that is what i would do. good luck anyway x

Re:

hi,

i think you yourself should decide whether you want to stay with your boyfriend or to meet someone new. if you don't feel anything to this guy you are dating with, just leave him and findsomeone else.if you still do... well, try to make him jealous.)this might help.
