He says he hates me

I need help, my boyfriend and i are having alot of trouble at the moment. Well currently we're not even together.
3 Weeks ago my boyfriend and I went to thailand together for my birthday, it was amazing! With our relationship we fought a bit but got over it so quickly, last monday we decided that we were going to go on a brake and not see each other for a week or so.I tried my hardest not to call him or contact him by any means. Before or brake i had bought tickets to a festival with him and his friends, but he asked me not to go on the saturday after we went on a brake. I decided to go but with my friends but i lied to him and said i wasn't going i know i shouldn't have lied i regret it but now he is saying he hates me and wants nothing to do with me all because i went to this festival, which is pathetic. I dont know what to do,he sends me messaged saying i love being wiht you but i want nothing to do with you at the moment. I need help i love him so much and things seemed to be going good on our break then this happens i dont no whether to blame myself or what sorry its a novel.x

If I were you I would try and show him that you don't need him. This is the hardest advice to follow as when we are in love we are irrational creachers. I would cut all tie's- told you it would be hard- but if you do that then it will def show you where you stand with him. He could chase you or it could end. This won't make it end but will make it a lot cleaner and more dignified if it is ending anyway. ( no drunken texts and mid night begging calls that you can't take back.)
I think if you do cut all ties he will come running back. Right now he is pushing you boundaries to see if he can have his cake and eat it. Your right it is a pathetic excuse to say he hates you. One thing I always do is think about a strong woman I admire and ask myself what she would do. (Mine is Angelina Jolie)
Things like this are never easy but you need to get the control back on even and walking away is always a good way to do that.
