Needing "space and time"?? help

I have been with my girlfriend for 4 months and recently she has started to feel unsure of her feelings and the relationship, as she feels a bit smothered with me being so nice to her! despite telling me she loves me and doesnt want it to end!

she has a lot of stress at the moment with a 2 year old and a new house which needs a lot of work, as well as working full time!

i have tried to be there and offer any help i can, which at times she is reluctant to take, not trusting anyone to help!

i love her deeply and want nothin more than to be a part of both their lives and be very happy together!

does her asking for a bit of time and space always mean a sugar coated ending????

Respect her wishes

this could go either way but if her space that is being ask is time away from you then respect that and just be there as a friend for her as she is repecting you by asking for space. Women need time to speak to their selves at times before comitting again in a relationship and you really need her to be a mother to her child first so step back and be a friend
