Attracted to someone at work who is a lot older than i am

I have fancies this man I work with for a few weeks now and don't know what to do about it. He's a lot older than I am so he might freak out if I told him straight that I fancied him. I want him to know that I like him but without making it really obvious. He doesn't wear a ring on his finger so I'm assuming he's not married.
