Whats the game

I met a guy on a dating web site in october and we met up just before xmas. As we were both busy with family we left it until after new year to meet up again although i heard from him nearly every day in the couple of weeks that passed - everythin seemed to go fine and he was phonin and textin me for the next few days after our "second date".

then i get a tex tellin me he couldnt see a long tem relationship coming out of it and that he was sorry. He also said hed keep in touch "as friends" well hes kept in touch and everything is still the same we flirt , we chat we do get on and have a laugh together

So now im confused anybody an idea what game hes playing? I do get the feeling hes been hurt before and incase you wonder he definately is not married or attached I've been at his home and I can phone/tex him any time. I dont want to lose him even if it is just friends but i really am getting confused about what the hell is going on

Theres no game

i think you should be careful not to fall for him, at least he was honest with you and told you upfront he is not interested, mayb you are reading more into your conversations and think he is flirtirn because that s wat you wold like. just dont let yourself fall....

"whats the game"

how has it been going with you and your guy from the web. I think he probably has been hurt before and would just like to take it slow the fact that he still calls is a good sign I still say to play it by ear and let time take it course and go from there

Whats the game

I think you should continue on as friends because only time will tell if he wants mor from the relationship. maybe he has been hurt in the past and just wants to play it safe. go with it for now but if nothing changes or you guys remain friends then just be happy in the relationship that you do have with each othet and by no means should you be exclusive to him date other poeple don't let your life revolve around his.

Hmm

Well, to be honest, to me it jus sounds as if he likes you as a friend and dears that if you break up as couples, it may just damage your friendship. Either that, or he just wants you as his friend and he has other image of who/what he wants as a girlfriend and the expectations. I don't think it's a game and I don't think he has anything against you in particular, but I think he just doesn't want you in that way, sorry to say

Don't worry!

I'd agree with Kecu. Don't worry though - there's plenty more around!
