help what should i do

Hi,
Well i have just found out that whislt my partner was working away he slept with someone.....
i found her clothes in his case. i asked him face to face and he said yes. He has blamed me for him doing it, saying its my flaut he did it because i have out weight on??? bear in mindd i have just had his child!!!!
Worse thing is that he aint sorry and is just carrying on as normal.....
plus he s going away very soon again with work....

could really do with some support and advice.

Here's what you should do

Dump him! He's an insensitive, selfish, shallow, cheat of man. Some new dad?!
It will seem hard but you'd be better off in the long run. If he can do that now, when your at your most vulnerable he isn't worth shedding a tear over. Still ... don't stop him from seeing his child

don't you just hate it when guys use the fact that you put weight on to cheat, if you cheated because he put on weight would the turn out be the same. I think your probably thinking in your head that he's going away to work again and there will be that open window for him to go through and cheat. You have all the answers, you are obviously not going to leave him and being that you just had a baby are you financially capable of leaving. what do you think you should do. and if you are going to lose weight do it for yourself.

Just read your thread and all I cant say is oh my god!

You must feel like absolute crap at the moment. You deserve so much better than this and cant continue to let this man treat you like that.

I really dont condone cheating at all but it may have been different if he was full of remorse and was sorry but he doesnt seem to be at ALL!!

and how DARE he blame it on the fact that you have put on weight after acrrying his child for 9 months. Im sorry and you probably wont want to hear this but men like this never change. He sounds like a complete .............!!

I was in a damaging relationship before I got together with my now partner and I kept giving him chance after chance after chance - it even got to the stage where his own parents told me to leave him. So finally I did and I can honestly say it was the best decision of my life.

I have now been with my current partner for nearly 5 years and he is the best thing that has happened to me in everyway and im so so happy now.

I cant tell you how many times I have had friends or even family members who have also been in bad relationships and have stayed with the person hoping that they will change and the truth is they never do - also another excuse people use for staying with their partner is the fact they have children well this is the worst reason of all - I know this from personal experiences.

Now I know this is a bit deep but you only get one chance at life why spend it being miserable and unhappy?

Let him come back from that trip and find you gone..when you are gone,groom yourself to the best.Its not the end of the world my dear.
