Am i being ridiculous??

So i have a boyfriend who i am madly inlove with....he is my first and only love but he has had alot of serious and long relationships before me. he tells me that i am his soulmate and that he has never felt like this about anyone before and i want to believe him but how do i know??
we have started to get more and more serious and he told me i could have the cupboard in his bathroom to leave things as i am always staying at his flat but when i went to put my things in there, all of his ex's stuff was in there too. it made me feel horrible and devestated and like im just a replacement and this isnt the first time i have found his ex's stuff in his flat and it's just a horrible constant reminder that he has loved other girls before me and that they have been in that flat sharing special moments together and it makes me question if the things he are saying to me are genuine or not..
i realise that of course people are going to have ex's but how can i be sure he means what he is saying to me and he hasnt said it to all his ex's too...am i being irrarional?? are my feelings justified?? please give advice..what sbould i do? i love him so much.

Clean the place up

I have so much old stuff all over my place, that there's certainly some stuff belonging to my ex's here too, it really doesn't mean he's still caring about his ex, most likely he just never got to cleaning up his place, most guy are like that. If it bothers you, volunteer to help him clean his place together, before some holidays or something. It's silly and somewhat old-fashioned, but you can get rid of all his ex's stuff, and the place will most likely be much more pleasant to spend time in.

Not at all

You have every right to get upset. Why is he even keeping these things around? You should really ask him why it is necessary to keep his ex's things around and if you can dispose of them.

Am i being ridiculous??"

If it really bothers you why not get him to remove his exes things out of the house. I wouldn't think to much into it you said it yourself he did love other girls. he probably didn't even realize that his exes things were still around remember guys are a oblivious to things if they are not directly in their faces. I wouldn't read to much into it if he had something to hide he would not have brought you to his place and given you that space to put your belongings. so are you being ridiculous "NO" you are just doing what anyone would do protecting their feelings because that is all we can do at the end of the day.
