In My opinion thats a good thing because then use still have a laugh and can talk to each other about things without hurting the other person. A lot of people would do anything to have their bf/gf as a best friend as well. The person that i am with is like a best friend also and i believe this has helped us in our relationship overcome things that we wouldn't be able to overcome if we didnt have that bond. This is great, its a complement, for a relationship to stand the test of time friends is the foundation. He didn't mean he just wanted to be friends, he meant that as well as being lovers, he enjoys your company so much he feels comfortable with you. ohh! perhaps he's been thinking about the future!
