I hate him, but i can't get away...

I still can't get away from my son's father, he won't let me get on with my life. I want to be with my new man, but i just can't seem to get away! Any tips anyone?

hi, i had a lot of promblems geeting rid of my ex (not going into detail it will take hours lol). You have to be harsh tell him you dont love him repeatadly when he rings dont even answer then turn of your fone, if he aproaches you just walk away, (if he follows let him until you get home, then you can call the police for harrasment) make sure he knows there is not a chance on earth your going to go back to him!!

My ex still tries to call occassionally (not often) and i still dont pick up. He will get the message, mine did an he was a nutter, he even set himself on fire once to try and stop me going out, he caused a lot of sh*t!

You could hire a hit man? Only joking. Is your new man big and burly surely he could scare him away? Other than that I'd send him a solicitors letter or try and get an injunction on him if he doesn't listen. Maybe when he finds himself a new partner and gets on with his life he might leave you alone, I had similar problems with my ex and he eventually left us alone once he took the hint

He has no right to stop you moving on. Give him one more chance - tell him "I am going to move on, I do not want to see you anymore, I have a new life now and if you continue to hassle me I will consider it harassment and contact the police."

If you get into a cycle of not giving him a firm and final NO and him coming back he will start to think he has a chance. Make sure he knows you're not kidding and you are serious about taking action against him if he continues to hassle you.
