Orgasms?

I keep reading and hearing about orgasms being described as 'explosive' but I don't remember ever feeling that any time I've had sex. Usually I feel a strong build up of tension and then an amazing release afterwards which, even though I wouldn't call it 'explosive' as such, is incredibly pleasurable and leaves me purring like a happy kitten afterwards. Also my partner keeps saying he feels my vaginal walls contract, but I'm not really aware of this sensation.

Does this mean I haven't had a proper orgasm or I just feel it differently from other women? Sorry for the gory descriptions but I'm incredibly confused by it all really! Thanks for reading! x

Sounds like an orgasm to me. Have you tried masturbating and feeling yourself inside when you get that feeling of release? You might find out about those contractions. They are a definite indication of orgasm

I have never experienced anything "Explosive" as such ...basically the same as you have described...
I think everyone is different .... so your not on your own! x
