I really enjoyed Anne Rice's "Beauty" series. It isn't her typical vampires and witches plot line. It is her spin on the tale of Sleeping Beauty. Beauty is woken up to a prince who takes her back to his castle to become a submissive. There is actually a great deal of character development and actual plot as well as excellent and detailed sex scenes.
