Hi,
Not keen on the idea of a sad old DJ and my entire family doing the conga at the end, so fancy something a bit different to the traditional wedding music...
Any ideas? Fiancé wants an Abba tribute band, but I'm not keen... Thinking blue Brothers or something Motown, but like the idea of live music.

it's up to them! It's their wedding!

choose the music you want, they'll dance to it anyone once they've had a few!

It's up to you really, but there isn't really much point in choosing something that only you will like if you want a good atmosphere, ie grandparents are never going to dance to death metal.

Did I notice that you were Scottish? I know its a cliche but live bands are the best....we had a live band that played both upbeat music to get everyone up to and Scottish reels so everyone could get up and do the eightsome reels, gay gordons.....brilliant fun, and everyone gets up and gives these a go.....
I also really wanted a "Big Band" to play swing music but we couldnt have both but the Scottish music brought everyone together for a good party!
