How would u propose?

Since there has been alot of discussion lately about women asking men to marry them (which i think is great) I was just wondering how would you propose to your other half?

Never really thought about it but...

I had a friend who surprised is girlfriend by bringing home chinese food one night. If a fortune cookie he typed up his own fortune which of course said "Will you marry me!". I thought that was cool. It was like cathcing her of gaurd. Some women know it's going to happen because the guy suddenly takes them to a fancy place to eat or something. This way it was an ordinary day and at home and so on. I think I would have done it that way had I did it.

Its a wonderful thing

I think it is a wonderful thing to be proposed to and it makes no difference if its the man or woman who proposes. I would propose to my partner by going to Selfriges in London, purchacing a bottle of Crystal, burning candles, serious love making and then pop the bottle along with the question. "hunny I love you and wont see myself with any one else so will you marry me?" hopefully his answer will be yes!
Then I would go away and start to make arrangments with my family and friends.

If i had to do it...

I got married last summer and it's my fiancé who actually proposed...
But if i had to do it, i think i will try to do it in a surprising way. Maybe by writing my proposal in a newspaper or in th e internet (it's cheaper!). I've discovered a website where you can make a wish and i think it could be a way to propose.

My ideal...

If I was to be proposed I would love it to be during Christmas time. Imagine Christmas tree and me opening presents and since I love animals I get a puppy. ON his neck there would be chain with a ring and a note " Be mine forever...Will you marry me?"
