International wedding

Has anyone had a wedding where the families of the bride and groom have come from different countries? How did you manage to arrange transport, accommodation etc for everyone, or did they sort it out themselvese?

Hi

I work as a wedding planner and I generally coordinate weddings for foreign couples here in Italy.
I usually give my brides a range of hotel proposals in the area according to their indications, then they forward all the information (websites, special rates for group bookings and location) to the guests.
After collecting their preferences I book the hotels.
This is a job that you could do in case you don't have a wedding coordinator who follows you.
The transport is more complicated, because you have to give all the details to the companies.. But you can manage..

I got maried in Latvia last year, im latvian and my husband is scotish.....We live in scotland and more or less most of wedding organization did from home.....i didn't really have any problems and my day was perfect, couldn't have wished better. And guests loved it.... If u need any advice or help let me know
