Mascapone

I forgot to say, mascapone is a very full fat soft cheese,it's used in tiramissu, if you cant get it use a full fat cream cheese as a substitute
Sarah

Caster sugar

Caster sugar is fine granulated white sugar, used in baking and patisserie,I think in the States its called superfine(?).I am English but live in Spain and cant get fine sugar at all here.I just use the normal white suger you put in tea or coffee, and if I'm making cakes I whisk the sugar with the eggs until they're pale then stick every thing else in and its fine,
Sarah

HI, I CAN TELL THAT THE SUGAR OF REED IS THE BROWN SUGAR
AND THE MASCARPONE IS A VERY SOFT CHEESE IT IS CREAMY ITALIAN........

Mascapone is a cheese

Hi Laura!

Mascapone is a italian creamy cheese is one of the ingredients of the tiramisu cake.

I am not sure about caster Sugar, but I think is the same that what in US call "superfine" sugar used for topping on desserts.

I think this could be helpful for you.

Bye, Rosa

Mascapone

Can mascapone be used in lasagne instead of Ricotta? is there any other cheese that can take Ricotta place in lasagne?

Thanks, rosa

Thank you so very much! I am so excited to try some of the recipies that I have found on this web site. I have been telling everyone what a great website this is. I have never even wrote on a forum before. Thank you again for taking the time to write me back. I am a mother of a one year old little boy named Zane and I have come to appriciate what time is really worth!
Thanks,
Laura
