Fudge

Hello,
Can any one help please, today for the first time i attemted to make some fudge, i carefully followed the recipe, but the end result tasted like fudge yum yum but was hard and had a Coconut ice like texture, i dont no what i did wrong do u???????????????

Tip

Have you tried it with icing sugar??
and the time of whisking too is important...
The cream should be whisked long enough to obtain the required texture...
