We dont like anything!!

My boyfriend and I are very unhealthy, I dont eat meat (apart from chicken) but i dont really like veg either. He wont eat anything unless its bad for u, never eats fruit, always snacking on microwave burgers and biscuits. Im always eating chocolate and crisps, Im not fat (yet) i am putting on weight tho, Always been a size 8/10, im finding most my 10s a bit tight now and most 12 are too big.

Has any1 got any ideas for meals that dont involve veg or meat, we both love chicken but all i make is chicken and potatos as most recipe's have loads veg in them!

Any idea welcome, thank you MrsJamz xx

Start off simple...

Hi.

I used to be like you when I was younger! I 'thought' I didn't like much either, until I made myself open my mind and try them. You would not believe what you are missing out on!

You say you like chicken and potatoes, so I should imagine your tastebuds are underdeveloped. Why don't you start experimenting with the basics first, such as cheese and bacon...wrap a chicken breast in bacon, wrap in foil and bake in oven. When cooked, take out of foil and place in a baking tray, grate a load of cheese over the top and bake until cheese has melted. Serve with home-made potato wedges. By the way, neither myself or my husband like veg but we love cooking and cook all sorts (Chinese, Indian, Korean, Indonesian etc etc), you don't have to put veg into a recipe if you don't like it. Try and use staples like onion and garlic and you won't go far wrong.

As an aside, when you have take-away what do you have? This may give you some ideas for trying out new flavours.

If you start off with basic foods, just trying different ways of eating them, I bet you'll soon be looking to expand your taste horizons!

Good luck, and have fun!
