Stovies

This is the stovies my old gran used to make;
1 lb steak mince
1 Large onion
2 carrots
1/2 small sweede
!/2 pint beef stock
Lee and perin sauce, dash
1 bay leaf

Chop onion carrots sweede and potatoes medium sized peices.
Dry fry mince few minutes till browned. Add vegetables fry few minutes Add stock amd lee and perrins. add bay leaf and season to taste.
Cover with tight fitting lid. simmer on top of stove for one to two hours. remove bay leave and serve with crusty bread. Yum Yum Enjoy !
