In a dilemma about weight loss

I'm 165 centimeters (5' 5") tall and weigh 123 lbs(56 kgs).I'm on a thinner side. But it seems that all the fat in my body is around the abdominal region. What is the right kind of deit and exercise for me so that I don't end up losing weight from other regions of the body.Has anybody ever experienced it??

Possible food intolerance?

You certainly don't sound as though you are overweight so maybe your problems could be due to food intolerances. I know that if I eat a lot of processed foods (white bread, white rice etc) my stomach becomes quite bloated (it doesn't necessarily feel that way but it looks awful) and I have a couple of friends who suffer the same way. It may be worth looking at if you haven't already. (And cutting out the culprits beats dieting!)

You are right

Yess I do eat a lot of white rice...being of Indian origin it is a huge part of the diet. But if I cut off rice from my diet, I'll lose weight like crazy.Do you have any idea what to do??
