Natural ways to lighten my lips!!

was born with very fair skin and over the years i got a lot of tan. my lips have turned a dark purple/red colour and i hate it! Can someone suggest some natural remedies that WORKS! i dont intend to see the results after 5 years dont suggest products please for various reasons i dont wish to discuss.
