Rhinoplasty - uneven swelling

Hi,

I had rhinoplasty 2 weeks ago. 2 days ago, the cast was taken off. There's a lot of swelling, especially on the tip of my nose. Also, my nostrils look very big. But what worries me the most is the uneven swelling on the tip. It looks like my right nostril hangs lower than the other. Is this normal and will it stay this way? I'm very depressed right now.

Oh my god, i was sooo depressed when they took mine off, one nostril was so different to the other one, i even went back to check it was normal cos I'd pulled stitches out by accident. I didn't even wanna go anywhere!! But eventually it went right down and now its fine, took about 3 weeks- 1 month for me to stop thinking about it. But no one else could even see it

I wish someone had helped me when I went through this so it's honestly nothing to worry about

yeah this is really normal and the surgeon should have told you this.one side of my nose is totally different from the other and im 3 weeks post op! just keep your chin up im very depressed with my nose right now also. But things can only get better eh! x x
