Need some advice!!!!x

Hiya,

This is my first time on here so hope there is someone out there that can help me!!

I have been to HMG today for a consultation and the nurse recommended Dr Helena Singerova or Dr Peter Ondrejka for my rhinoplasty. Can't really find much about either of them! Havent exactly decided where i am goin yet so if anyone can recommend a good surgeon elsewhere or any info on those two would be much appreciated!

hi I am/have been in the same position as you.
I have wanted rhinoplasty since school - researched a few companies/surgeons and various prices etc. I also went to Harley Medical and was suggested Dr Peter Ondrejka. I had my consultation with him and came out feeling a bit nervous but happy that he knew what I wanted and explained what he was going to do. He is from Prague and quite reserved, which can be daunting because he isn't the kind of person to over-act and promise you excatly what you want etc - which is a good thing!! He's not the kind of man who get's emotionally involved etc if you get what I mean- after all its his job and he just told me what would happen. There was no pressure etc - I think Harley Medical can get a bad rep - I have had a good experience anyway with the Leeds branch - made to feel comfortable, not pressured, and they weren't being all "salesy" with me. But everyone experience different - just remember that.
Look on lookyourbestuk.com there is quite a bit of information about him there and some picture's of a girl who has recently had surgery by him - and the results are pretty great. Oh course everyone is different and you can't expect perfection. I have written on there because I want there to be more information available about him for other people.
I am booked in with him for Dec 8th and has so far not found a bad word about him, so feeling pretty confident -ish! (as confident as you can feel before having surgery!)
Anyway - if you don't feel completely happy having your surgery done by him there are plenty of good recommendations on there and loads of helpful information.

There must be hundred and hundeds of surgeons and as many companies selling themselves to you. My advise is do as much research as possible. A good place to start i found was www.allaboutsurgery.co.uk as they have all the main providers costs and so on, and loads of info on Cosmetic Surgery. They also have a rather unique online consult which is only £3.50 so well worth sitting back and learning about cosmetic surgery in general, what everything means and tells you what to look for in a provider. Submit your details, they will send you some info out in the post, a very very good service i had from them!
Pick 3 people to see, dont book until you have seen them all and compare everything they offer you, as what appears to be the best ight not be, but you have to go with who you feel most comfortable with also. Good Luck, try the site and drop them an email....brilliant
