Back from rhino at highgate
Hi girls
Yesterday I had my rhino done through MYA and less then 24hours Im home in recovery. My surgery lasted 1hour with MR Gonschior (a maxi facial surgeon and dentist) and I have been in NO pain WHATSOEVER. Have not even taken any pain killers. I was expecting bruising today but theres none at the moment. Just got bags under my eyes. I had a bump removed. All ive got to do is wait for 2weeks to have my splint removed so housebound till then. From the splint I can see the humps gone and it was awful. believe me. Made me so self conscious wherever I went. Even when I was talking to people, taking pictures I was conscious of my nose showing me badly and I always deleted my pics because my nose just overtook the lenses. The staff at Highgate were very friendly and nice. I couldnt have been at a better place. The food was lovely, you get starter, main and desert and all the coffee and tea you want. They provide you with the gown, surgical stockings, slippers and knickers. My only moan was I was starving and it was damm hard watching my mates eating biscuits and chocolates in frnt of me. Anyone who wants rhino done id recommend dr gonschior 100%. He listens to you and takes his time with you. Hes restored my confidence regarding my nose. Even though I am in a splint I am happy. If in the future I went back for more surgery Id go with him. There are other girls on here who have had consultations with him and said the same.
