Which surgeon for rhynoplasty and a mini face lift in sheffield?

Hi, I am hoping to have Rhynoplasty and a Mini Face Lift at a hospital local to sheffield. I have been told Mr. Lam is a good sugeon but would love to hear from anyone with details of their experience, who used a surgeon local'ish to the Sheffield area.

im also lookin for a rhinoplasty surgeon.. jus been to transorm and had a consultation with dr paolo cajano.. he was really rude and insensitive he didnt instill any confidence in me at all.. i left feelin really low and dissappointed so dnt go ther!! i did go to harley medical and seen helena singerova..altohugh she was pleasant and nice she didnt really go through all the ins and outs like dr cajano did.. dont kno if thats a good thing or not!
i have got a consutation with mya at leeds on monday its really expensive compared to harley and transform bt we'll c how it goes?? whos dr Lam by the way?

you should speak to Dr Raghavan he works at the Doncaster Hospital he specializes in Rhinoplasty. myself and my sister have used him. he is good

Let me know how you go with the consultation. Are you paying for the consultations. It can end up costing £300 - £400, even before surgery unless the consultation is free. Mr Lam works at claremont and also at Thornbury. I really want to get it sorted pretty soon. I was hoping to get it done in the next 6 weeks. Did the consultant show you any before and after pictures. I telephoned and asked at the Thornbury if I would be able to see some before and after pics of proceedures Mr Lam had done, and the head nurse that works for Mr Lam, got really nasty and shirty with me, so I didn't book a consultation. After my surgery I am going to post pics on this site with my eyes blacked out. I think people really need to see what the surgeons work is like before having the proceedure, after all you do pay enough, you should be able to see before and after pics.

i did go tot mya they were great.. i was dr helena antoniadau n she was alot easier to gell with.
alot of places have free consultations so i ahvent been paying for any of mine.
i do find that alot places arent happy with showing before and after ics.
when i saw dr cajano at transform he was so determined not to show me any pics he said its in my best interest as he doesnt want to create any false hopes!
mya did show me ther own before and after pics bt when i asked to see dr helenas work she said that she would have to seek permission 1st as alot of patients wouldnt aprrove of it as it shows the face. she did say she can arrange for me to see them another time i dont kno is thats was a false promise or not!

i went to seemy gp today he advised a surgeon who has worked for the nhs as well as private woek(some do both).
he says there the best ones and the most genuine too. luckily helena did say tehat whe worked for the nhs untill 6months ago in birmingham.
im not too sure though is what they say is always the truth??
anyway im having quiet abit of work done on my nose.. open rhino with hump removal and defining the tip, aswell as reduction of the actual projection.
transform quoted £4k and mya quoted £5500
i did negotiate the prive mya actuallt nocked a good £1k off afte ri told them what transform were offering..so start negiotiating! im glad i plucke dup the courage to do it myself!
im still goin to think about it for a few days. her next date is july the 10th.transform can fit me in next week!
it was interesting to kno that dr cajano from tranform used to work for mya initialy... both hospitals are in manchester which isnt too far!
