Has anyone had a tummy tuck with bupa at bushey

I have had my consultation and am still very worried and nervous. My op is booked in a months time and I want to know if i am doing the right thing? I am worried about the recovery and risks. I would love some reassurance from anyone who has had a full tt and lipo on sides or if they have had their surgery done by Mr Jag Chana even better, I need to speak to one of his patients THANK YOU SO MUCH

Tummy tuck and lipo with eric scholten

Hi I had my tummy tuck and lipo done 6 weeks ago by Eric Scholton at the Saxon Clinic in Milton Keynes and the results are fantastic, the pain was bad for a few days after but only if i moved.the results are amazing and i can't recomend my surgeon enough he was amazing and the after care has been fantastic i have had no problems with any of it , the scar although long is so fine it just looks like a cat scratch. i would be happy to talk to anyone who has any worries about this procedure it has been the best thing for me but i have to say that having a very good surgeon who i trusted totally did make this all the better for me.

iIhad my tummy done in manchester last saturday
The last 2 days have been painful more towards the evening as I am having quite a bit of swelling
how are you doing for swelling ?
I had my drains removed today was really painful and after having twins I dont think im a wimp
did you have your drains for a week also did you swell more after they were taken out?
The plus side is I saw my scar today and I am over the moon would jump in the air if I could
Like yours is quite long but very thin also is a lovely curved line and very low and the nurse even said when the swelling subsides could be a half inch lower
any advice you can give me for the next few weeks would be much appreciated

I did not have any drains as my surgeon does not use them i had heard that they are painfull to remove poor you hope it is all ok now,

I used my pressure corsett all the time for the swelling and found although uncomfortable it did help.

the first week is painfull especially getting inand out of bed i found sleeping a real problem but it inproved very quickly after a week so keep your chin up

how much did you have taken off were you very big before surgery

My daughter had a tummy tuck and lipo 3 years ago, after having lost 5 stones in weight, her surgeon was Miss Hazereka (not sure if I've spelt her name correctly). There are definitely risks and the recovery can be prolonged. You will need someone to look after you after you have had it done. Although my daughter did have a few problems with fluid build up which she had to have drained off several times, her surgeon was brilliant and the scar she is left with is fantastic. She has absolutely never regretted having it done and was really unhappy before with her excess skin, so it has been well worth it, and what is more is that it has encouraged her to keep her weight off. I do hope you get someone respond who has had your surgeon as my daughter would have loved to have spoken or heard from someone before her surgery that had had her surgeon. Lots of people on here say go with your gut instinct and I think thats really true. I went with my daughter to her consultation and we both knew she was the right surgeon. So good luck and I really hope you will be as happy with your results as my daugher is.
