6 days post-op from tt - when did others stand up straight?

Hi All,

I'm 6 days post-op from a full TT at Methley Park Hospital in Leeds. Mr Le Roux Fourie was my PS and he has done a fantastic job.

I was just wondering at what point others were starting to stand/walk straight? Mr Fourie said I should be walking straighter than I am, but it still feels quite uncomfortable.

I have also been told I can take a bath in a couple of days (had my first shower today) but I'm quite nervous that if you sit in a bath, you're bathing in your 'dirt' and might increase a risk of infection. Would be great to hear other peoples stories/views.

i am new to this forum couldnt get on before my op as moved house and had no internet
i had a full tummy tuck with muscle repair and lipo to flanks on sat 7th nov felt great untill today . i felt i was gradually improving but today have swollen a lot and now am more bent over than a couple of days ago
i still have drains does anyone else
would be really interested to speak to anyone else in same position

hi i was slowly standing up straight by the end of my first week, it feels tight but do-able, i'm 11 weeks post and even though i can move all fine now my muscles still feel wierd and tight and i'm still swollen. i was fine in the bath although i had to wait till my dressing was taken off s was probably about a week and half to 2 week post.
