Transform or harley

im having a bit of bother trying to decide who to go with ...have had consultation with mr russo at transform today and i really liked him and felt comfortable with him. However i have already paid £500 for consult with mr malik at harley and am due to see him next weds. Now i am confused as to who to go with as I can go on the 17th sept with the harley group (which is when I have booked time off from work to have this done) and it is costing me nearly £8000 without the cost of transport and ecg, andt transform are charging me £6600 incl transport and all pre op procedures but they may not be able to do my op on the 17th sept ( full tt with lipo).

Please help!!

Go abroad

I don't know about either of these 2 as didn't go for a consultation with them, but I can thoroughly recommend Clinic Beaucare in Belgium for a full tt.
I am almost 3 weeks post op and I can honestly say they have done an absolutely AMAZING job on my tummy - I can see even at this early stage that they have performed a miracle, ha ha!! All in, the op was £2350 (although I didn't have lipo, that will probably be a few hundred pounds more). Obviously it costs to get there, but including return flights from Scotland, hotels, taxis, spending money etc, the whole lot cost less than £3,000 for myself and my partner who accompanied me on the trip. The surgeon is just amazing, knew exactly what he was doing and I completely trusted him. You don't stay in the clinic overnight after the op (have to go back to the hotel, something to do with the laws in Belgium), but the surgeon gave me his number and insisted I call if there were any problems at all.
If you, or anyone else, need more info on the clinic/surgeon/procedure/whatever, get in touch with me. Good luck with whatever you choose.

Re: go abroad

Hi,

I've just read you post - and I'm really pleased with the info you gave on your expereince. What are your scars like now? I'm also considering going abroad but with Elyzea - but am worried about travelling after the op and whether I will get good results. I've had consultations with Elyzea and Transform - there is definately a massage difference in cost - but i just want to feel safe that I will get the best results. What do you think? I'm sooo confused!!

For god's sake don't choose malik

Short reply: Dr Malik performed liposuction on me and during the surgery he perforated my small bowel twice. I almost died on it. NHS saved my life after the private sector completely failed to diagnose my problem. victim

Providers

There are loads of so called cosmetic surgery providers, i have heard of transform and i have heard of russo, is he manchester. i am sure he was on gok wan a few months ago. he was gorgeous....!!!$$£""!$%
Not sure if i would make my decision on that though. Deposits are refundable as per the companys terms and conditions, a few people have been stung and mentioned it on this site before so be careful. Full until September, i dont believe it, i get called all the time offering me dates sooner than that for my op?/?? check out www.allaboutsurgery.co.uk and see what they say about the Op, i have an online consult to teach me what to ask and what to look out for and its a really educational thing, i sound so sad but its true, it helped me ask the right questions i think.

Transform or harley

Hi there,

I know this may not be much help now, but I would definitely choose Transform over the Harley Medical. I went for a consultation with both the above for a TT with lipo and two night stay - Harley wanted £6,800 less £500 to see the surgeon who I may not have liked and Transform wanted £5,400 all in including meeting my surgeon a Mr Meleagros (transform). If you're that desperate, then either change your holiday dates, but if you can't then take a sickie and get your GP or the on-call doctor at the hospital to write out a medical certificate for your period of absence.

Hope this helps and let me know how you get on.

Transform or harley

Same here. Booked tt at harley with mr Ondrejka. Not sure about the whole thing. Been at Transform aswell. Same price. Have you made your mind up yet. Please let me know

Not harley

Hi Terri,
Congrats on opting for surgery, Its really difficult to choose - I know. Last Jan I had tummy tuck & braest uplift with implants at the Harley total which cost over 12K. The aftercare is crap not at all what they promise. I had the op in Manchester & had to travel there to have check ups etc. The lift was always broken & had to climb 4 flights of stairs (even 2 days after extensive surgery) got an infection and had to travel all over the place to other clinics to get treated even had to pay for scripts for my GP. Its an absolute shambles and I would never recommend them. They bamboozle you into thinking they offer fab aftercare which is why I opted to have my surgery in the uk instead of abroad and with them to get total piece of mind - well I wish I had gone abroad a friend of mine has just had TT, boob uplifts with implants thigh & arm lift plus lipo for less than 9K in budapest & aftercare was fab. well u live & learn.
Also just over a year on im not happy with my breasts as they have dropped far too much and are misshapen also tummy tuck not gr8 no real scar but upper abdomen saggy (I have maintained my weight and am the fittest I have ever been) and looks worse than before as wrinkled. I wish I could afford to have it all done again but having paid Harley so much I cannot afford it. Very unhappy wish Id never had it done as looks worse than before.
Sorry to ramble but dont trust Harley. My surgeon was good but results a year on are not and there is NO aftercare. My advice try abroad. eg LindaBriggs.co.uk can help to arrange surgery and also revive in Poland - I have heard good reviews about both and the clinics are clean and aftercare fabulous.
Good luck xx
