Hematoma/bleeding after vaser, smart lipo etc

Has anyone had a hematoma after Vaser or Smart Lipo? If so how was it treated? I have experienced a very large collection of 'fluid blood' (not dried/bruise) and have been advised to leave it be. It spans just over half the length of my thigh. Surely it would be better to be drained out? When I asked about this I was told that the area could just fill with more blood if that was to be done. I am also told that the body will re-absorb the blood that has collected under the skin/in the cavaty left after Vaser but is this likely? Surely if that were to happen it would mean there is a 'bleed' that hasn't stopped bleeding? I am to return to the clinic next week to be reassessed but am concerned about what could happen next. Anyone with any information please contact me/advise me.

The clinic was very good. I had to have the areas drained on a number of occassions. I ended up having to take iron tablets due to anemia from the procedure (or I should say the complications of thr procedure). I still have a lot of swelling in the areas that were affected but the situation is greatly improved from what it was. The clinic was Bodysmooth in Argyle st (London)
