Worried, the period is not ending

Hi,
I'm 24 year old, weighing 105-110lbs and measuring 5'3.
I have stopped taking the pill, 3 years ago.

I had my period from April 14-21. Then, my next period started on May 2nd, and it hasn't ended yet today (not lot of blood but still enough that shows it's not ending sooner).

This is the first time it's happening to me, that the period started not long after the previous one ended (11 days after, meaning almost twice in a month!). I'm worried that it hasn't ended yet. Usually, it last around 4 days, and today, it has been the eleventh day..

Will that be a sign of eventual problem? Should I be worried?

I would go to your docs if its still a problem - I bled for 32 days non stop - doc sent me for a scan and I have a (harmless) cyst on my ovary the size of an orange!
Still very bad irregular periods but not as long as that one thank god!
Just had date for surgery to have it removed - keyhole day surgery. Not even staying overnight.

Can happen sometimes

Hey neb24,

Sometimes the same thing happens with my period if I'm stressed and worrying about something, or if I have changes to my diet or a big upheaveal in my life. I wouldn't be too worried about it unless it keeps happening like this, then you should see a doctor.
