Cramping but no period and negatives

Dear all

End of June I came off the pill, had a withdrawal bleeing shortly after and 4 weeks later my first normal period around the 20th of July for about 4 days. Since then, I had unprotected sex and I am late as I still have no period until yet. I have period cramps since about 10 days but no period. Did a HPT and a UT at the GP, both negative. Only thing my GP now wants to do is a swap, but the appointment is on the 22nd of this month, which I think is ages away. I am getting concerned about it being a cyst or even an ectopic pregnancy, so I would really like to have a ultrasound scan done. Would it be possible for me to got to a hospital (living in Scotland) in order to get one done?

I guess you must still be very worried as your appointment isn't til next week. Did you manage to get a scan? If not, maybe you could insist about how worried you are when you see your doctor on the 22nd... maybe then he/she will send you for a scan. best of luck. Kat x
