Embarrassing so please help..!

For the last week or so I've had a very watery, slightly brown VERY smelly vaginal discharge (as in, when at work people have asked "Whats that smell?"). It smells like old water with old blood mixed in. It started just after the end of my last period. I'm hoping my next period will just wash it away, but I don't want to wait another 3 weeks if it continues.
Too be honest if I'm lucky to get an appointment my doctor is rubbish anyway!!
I'm 21 and have never had anything like this before - any suggestions from anyone? Please help
