He's walked away

Me and my babies dad have today finally called it a day because he doesn't want to be with me anymore. I moved back to my mums 2 months ago because he was going out every weekend and coming in at all hours. We have a little boy who's just turned 1 and I thought he needed to stay in more and be part of a family but he still wanted to go out, so after him going out on a Saturday night (on his own) I finally gave up and went.
For the 2 months I've been gone he told me he would learn to change and do more with our son so I was happy with that and looked forward to going back. Then on Friday he said that we should book a family holiday for September and go away together. Then that night he went out and went really weird with me over the next couple of days. I've since found out he's back in contact with his ex and he's been ringing him.
My head is everywhere, i thought we were on the right track to sorting things out but it seems I couldn't have been further from the truth.

Please tell me this will get easier. I've cried for 2 whole days and feel like my whole world has fallen apart. i'm trying my best to keep things together for my little boy but I'm struggling!

it will get better in time trust me ,my ex did the same thing i know what emotions your going through, let him go ,,,,,,you have the support of your family which is a good thing

Thanks My heads really all over the place as he's gone off the rails now so I'm constantly thinking 'who's he with' etc n I'm finding it hard to forget about him.

there is no time period for a heart to mend just let time take its course but like you said you have to be strong for your little guy, he is the man in your life that really needs you don't forget that.

Message

Just take one day at a time try to focus your energy on you and your baby and take the support from your family. Everybody is different in how they deal with relationship break ups just one step at a time you will in time see light at the end of the tunnel. You will find the strength to carry on even though it does not seem like that just now.
