Should i call my ex who left without talking to me??? help

It's been a few months now, have to say it hasn't been easy to say the least. I thought I would hear from him over christmas but didn't! Anyway even though he hurt me, I still care and want to be with him. I'm in two minds here - I've been waiting/hoping for him to call me and explain his actions but obviously this has not happened. I want some advice - should I call him and ask him to meet me so we can talk?? or should I just deal with the fact that he left, he didn't explain because he's a coward and presume that he has moved on and do the same??

I think your right. The only thing that keeps playing over and over in my head is the fact that this could all be a misunderstanding? like maybe he heard something and just left without thinking to talk to me about it. I say this because I heard some rumours whick I knew were not true and maybe he's waiting for me to contact him. What do you think? am I being silly?????
