Wedding with my ex - to go or not to go?????

Hello,

My ex and i broke up a month ago. We had been together for two years. We were invited to his friends wedding while still together. The wedding is in a few weeks and my ex is still thinking that we will go to it together. I want to go with him but i am beginning to think it's not such a good idea. I mean why do i still even want to go? Probably beacuse part of me thinks he will realise what an ass he has been and decide he does actually want to spend the rest of his life with me?!?

I'm asking if you would go to this wedding if you were me?

We broke up becasue he did not feel he wanted to take our relationship further ie move in together etc but i did.

We are still talking on the phone and have seen each other twice since we broke up and each time we have done things friends don't do if you get my meaning.
I know if we go to this wedding together we will have a great time and we will end up sleeping together BUT we have broken up and for good reason. Now it's just getting silly!!!!

Help me make sence of it if you can.

I would still go to the wedding especially if the person who wedding you are going to is a close friend of your, go and celebrate this special day regardless if you and your boyfriend are together.
