Confused!!!

hey would like a little bit of advice on my sit, been with my boyf for a year and within that time we have had a baby and have moved in together. My issue is that he has usually been late at giving me money towards rent and the latest was i bought a cot on the understanding he would pay half well had to wait 6 weeks for him togive me anything towards it. he has now paid his share.

We had an argument as I paid abig bill for work done in the house 500 quid and on the same day the electric ran out (£20 in meter each time) he actually took money frommy wallet instead of paying out of his own.Im on maternity at theminute so earning less than him. I ignored him and he walked out.

Any advice on how i should handle this?

I have been through something very similar and the only thing that really sorted it out was talking to him about it. It seems very unfair and it isnt right that you are the only one providing.......instead of ignoring him have you tried speaking to him calmly about it?

Men being men .....he probably doesnt realise how unfair he is being!

Why dont you try putting a set date for the rent each month or suggest that he set up a direct debit every month into your acc so that there doesnt have to be any physical changing of money.....plus it will never be late again!

Talking seems to be the best solution for a lot of things, especially if it stops arguements which is always good, especially when there is a baby also!!
