One night stand regret versus no regret

Hi girls, how many of you have had one night stands you've regretted and how many you've not regretted? Amongst me and my friends, most seem to have regrets, and I was wondering if it was a general picture...

I had quite a few One Night Stands, and I don't really regret any. Except one, with my former best friend, we were both drunk and the sex was horrible... afterwards we weren't able to look into each others eyes anymore, but we were only 16 at that time.

Fabby night

heya, well yeah, I had wot i guess you'd refer to as a one night stand. it was a guy id met once before in a big group of friends. he was absolutely gorgeous and we clicked immediatley. he got my number and asked if i wanted to meet up. we did, we hung out for a few hours and kissed and ended up having amazing sex in the deserted park near my house! the sex was amazing because we could just go for it as hard and fast as we wanted and just for the sake of it. i have a high libido and he was the first guy that had ever fully matched me that way. afterwards we got ourselves together and he walked me home. he gave me a long passionate kiss afterwards and left.
I haven't seen him again since and it was just fantastic to not have to worry about anything, whether i was good or not etc. it was brilliant because it was spontaneous and in the moment and with a practial stranger. I have absolutely no regrets, if i could go back and do it again i definately would.
one night stands are fantastic, sometimes you just need to let go and 'do it'. lol

Difficult one!

Hmmm, well, I've only had one one night stand and it was great! He was a lovely man, he made me feel beautiful and special and he was very gentle and attentive and it lasted hours. The next day, he did not make me feel bad about it, rather he gave me a note thanking him for a wonderful night, and came to find me later to kiss me. All of these things combined to erase any guilt or regret or embarrassment and so my first experience of a 1 night stand was all fun with no hurt.

But I know I'm one of the lucky ones and that most people's experiences do not go like this. If I was ignored by the man or made to feel bad about it by him afterwards, or if one of us was in a relationship, I would have had an altogether different and unpleasant experience.

Depends!

I think it depends on the situation, i mean if you were single didnt want anything more than casual SAFE sex then i cant see why you should have regrets, however if you thought that something more would come of it, and it didnt, then yes there would be regret.
On the other hand if you were in a relationship and youve had a one night stand, you would have a guilty conscience, so you would have regret.
