Can someone advise?

I am a 30 year od woman with a 4 year old child and split with my childs father in the summer. It was a long term partnership that just didnt work out and we are still civil for our childs sake.

I have now been split for the best part of a year and i am starting to feel really lonely. Not lonely in that i havent got friends as i have many but intimately lonely. I have no intentions of getting back ith my ex as that has completely gone but i am having real difficulty dealing with the 'no sex' scenario.

I never actually realised that i had such a high sex drive and have many times used allternative Ann Summer gadgets but they only seem to give me quick fixes.

I did meet a guy in the last coming months and we met once or twice and obviously didnt do anything like that but whilst he seemed really keen at first he just seems to contact me now and again and doesnt suggest meeting up anymore or anything just randomly asks how i am etc.

I dont want to make it sound that i am desperate as i am not but i am just wondering if these feelings that i am getting and also holding out hope that this guy will call etc. is quite normal feelings as usually i am quite a very balanced person.

I am starting to feel as if any guy that shows interest in me is a big deal and i am feeling a bit embarrased at this.

Can anyone help me or has anyone felt the same. Also what should i do about this guy??
