Is his best friend jealous?

Hi

Well lets call them Mr C = my boyfriend and Mr D = his best friend.
They have been friend since they were babies (I think their mums were in the same hospital room or something), and I don't want to get in the way of their friendship, but I also don't want Mr D's attitude towards me get in the way of mine and Mr C's relationship.
At first I thought Mr D was just having trouble adapting to the situation but it's gone on for other a year now to be just that. If I'm around Mr D will stop Mr D from being next to me, he all ways buts in at the most inapropriate moments, he even tells Mr C that he's fat, a geek and anything else that Mr C has a complex about, and Mr C is the type of person who won't do anything about it because he fells the under-dog. If I try to do something nice for Mr C OR Mr D, Mr D just has a go at me about it.
I've tried to reason with Mr D, but today was the last straw and I ended up telling him here to go - which isn't really like me. In the end I got up and walked away - I'd do this more often but Mr D is constantly around Mr C.
Is he jealous or just doesn't like me? Please help me know what to do.

Don't hang out with him and his friend

Okay so I have the same problem, my fiance has been friends with his best friends for forever too and in highschool I dated my fiance for like a week then broke it off for stupid reasons, anyway a week later here comes his best friend trying to talk to me and I was a total ... to him but years later after we graduated he never acted like he had a problem with me he even still tried to hit on me but it wasn't until I started dating his best friend again that he started having a problem with me and I just don't like him and he's mad that I take up a lot of his best friend's time. That may be the problem with you, he doesn't want any girl coming in between his friendship with your boyfriend so he's trying to be an ass to you because he probably knows how much your guy cares for you and in the end he most likely knows that the girlfriend usually comes first, he's just acting like a butt hole cause he's scared. My advice...don't let it get to you you don't have to be mean back but you also don't have to try and get him to like you cause chances are he probably never will so don't waste your time. Just be with your guy and if this boy is always around it will def. put a strain on your relationship so maybe you should also tell your boyfriend how you feel and suggest that you two hang out alone and if he wants to be with his friend schedule that around the two of you, because you should def. be priority.

That's great to know that I'm not the only one. I will try that.. not that I haven't already lol, it's nice to know that I'm on the right track. But I tell you what really inoyed me today was that when I was having a little moment with my boyfriend his best friend just came other and sat in between us and said "look what's the matter with my ipod" grr I feel sometimes I can never get a word out when he's arround.

What!!!!!

Okay see I would have had to go postal on the boy if it were me lol. He def. has a serious problem and bottom line: he needs a life or better yet a love life so he can stay out you and your guys. I wouldn't let him get away with any of that you need to put down your foot ASAP cause this guy seems like a real jerk. What is your bf doing/saying about this

I don't give the friend an easy time about it everytime he has a go I give him the cold shoulder. I think my bf feels ackward about the situation, but now he's aware of how I feel he just says "oh yeah" to his mate and then carrys on talking to me.
